Last evening (September 7) we had our 5th annual Evening on the Lawn. It is a church (Powhatan Mennonite Church) sponsored event for the community featuring a Christian professional music group. This year we had Southern Grace Country Gospel Band from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

Karla Hostetter has a birthday in a few days and we sang “Happy Birthday” to her.

I love the intergenerational mix of people in these photos…all the family is out and about. Everyone is dressed in a modest yet summery way….no spiked hair…no black Lipstick just good folk having a wonderful suummer evening all together! Wonderful photos!

Hello folks, and God bless you. I’ve been listening to your country gospel music for a while now, and it is certainly blessing my soul. The selection I like most is Above All. That first song, in fact, most all of them on that ‘album’ if you will, have become prayer-like so I lift the words up to Our Lord as praise and worship to our King Jesus🙏🙏🙏 Actually I feel like His Holy Spirit has led me to this very place!!
