Right now I am angry and that is not a good place to be! A truck driver has gotten under my skin BIG time. Why does someone in their right mind think they can pull their tractor trailer into my front yard when the ground is soft and I won’t care! And why does he think he can argue about it and say something stupid like “where’s the driveway”! What if it had been over a drain field?
To make matters worse I had given him very clear easy instructions as what to do; the first of which was stay right where you are and we will unload you. He did not listen. He tried to say we told him to turn around in the yard! Do I have “dumber than stupid” written on my forehead?
I do not get angry often or easily. But right now I am so mad I am biting bullets. When my insides are quivering because I am mad…. I guess I had better take a deep breath. Lord, help me.
Sometimes Bible verses pop in your head at the most inopportune time-well, maybe the proper time… “sin not and do not to let the sun go down on your wrath.” Ephesians 4:26. At least I have two more hours until dark!
